how do i make a circle inside of a circle with each spinning in different directions. 1 circle spinning up to down and the other left to right?

    Design set to plain text
Replace default Xara text with a capital 'O' (in my example font was Arial)
Do a 'Return' and type a second capital 'O'
Highlight second 'O' and reduce font size to 80%
Use Line spacing and baseline shift to move lower 'O' into upper 'O'
Click ok and Xara displays 1 'O' inside the other
    Click show/hide cursor
Use Shift + Left arrow key to highlight 1st 'O'
In animation options leave style on rotate 1
Select text, direction of rotation vertical
Use left arrow key to move to other 'O'
Use left arrow key + shift to highlight other 'O'
In animation options leave style on rotate 1
Select text, direction of rotation horizontal, direction of rotation
    Click show/hide cursor
    Click start/stop animation
    Done!

thats good but i need the circles to be more circular rather than oval. i changed the aspect ratio to 140% but it looks a bit funny. any suggestions?

i figured it out. i inserted a "." (period stop character). then under the extrusion options i selected the outline button which hollowed out the period. then i added back the border and under the design options i set the stretch to 100%. i fiddled with the size and this is what i came up with...

Well done! I only used the Arial font 'O's for speed to demonstrate the principle. If I were to do it correctly I would probably have cut and pasted perfect circles from Xara Xtreme into 3DS, but I didn't know if you had XX.
Bear in mind that if you are using the border for your outer circle then you will need to use something similar to my post if you want to add anything to the centre of both of your circles.

The background color shows only if you Don't have transparency checked when you save. Nice work to both.
