    Default Glow Color

Hi, everyone ! I am new to the Xara editing.

When I create an object and give it a glow, I am not able to get the required glow color.

I am not getting any tip or help from the tutorials.

Can anyone tell me how to choose the glow color of any object ?

Just apply the glow first, then left click and drag a colour from the colour bar to the glow

Thanks a lot for that ! I am able to do that now !! Is it possible only by increasing the glow extent to certain limit and change the color ?

As long as you have only the shadow selected (not the object) you can left click on the color line or use the color editor to change the color.

    Welcome Legend,

The glow shadow is very effective but underused.

One reason why it might be underused could be because it can quickly become unusable with the new shadow code introduced in Xtreme (2.0). Drag the glow shadow out more than 50 pix or so and Xara crunches. The old shadow code was far more efficient in X1 as it had no speed issues. I still consider this major limitation a bug.

Xhris have you checked your system for problems lately?

I have pulled the glow shadow out to over 400 pixels without a crash.

Egg thanks for the video tutorial. I added a link in the Video Tutorials thread.
