    Mike,

The green turtle was done with fly maps. I have several hundred maps with a range of colors. These were Xara drawings colored in E3 and then assembled in Xara again. I made a few crystal maps trying to find something that would work nicely. I found that E3 could use transparent maps, and that is the basis for the bezel fills. The map fill is the same, however, this type has a transparent center. The color flows from the shape of the object, and the amount of the bezel is adjustable. With the crystal fill, all the objects were done at the same time. Same with the bezel. I save out to PNG, and make the final adjustments in Xara.

My system is still recovering from being destroyed by a power surge, and I haven't loaded all my resources.

Most of the pieces are map colored. I made lots of tiles for the frame matt.

    Hi Rich!

    Nice turtles in a tank...

Here is a challenge for you...

Do a couple crystal turtles swiming in a crystal punch bowl filled with champane, complete with bubbles... Make sure you sign it tho... You could start a craze with all those bridezillas out there...

I believe E3.3 is still available for free. You can do your own.
