export the movie (file>export) as a .mov or .avi (.mov tends to drop the sound). do some post production in something like premiere or whatever you like to use for video work (like resyncing the sound, or reattaching it if you've lost it, or smoothing the video, etc.) and then export as your mpg or dat for creating a vcd.

    another note:
true quicktime is only available on the mac. the pc version just creates a .mov that actually still has the flash properties and basically is a flash movie played back in the quicktime viewer. on a pc, therefore, it's better to go the route of an avi

What export settings are you using when you export? And what codec? Also, is all your tweening within movie clips? Sometimes when trying to export movie clips, it will drop the actions or animations of the clip - only displaying the first frame of the clip. If you're using movie clips, try stripping them out, or incorporating them into the main timeline. I know it's a pain in the proverbial donkey butt, but that's just the way of digital video... The thing is Pradeep I've already done the movie with movie clios and stuff!
I need to write it to a cd so that I can play the animation in a VCD Player.

    Thanx in advance.

do you have access to a mac? if so, try exporting to a .mov on a mac, using the dv-ntsc setting (or dv-pal if you're going to that format). anyway, this might keep your tweening. otherwise, it's a matter of taking the time to rebuild your movie without movie clips and trying again, as far as i can see

Its easy to convert Swf to video using this: http://geovid.com/download/flash-to-...ncoder-pro.exe
Its Flash to Video Encoder PRO 2.5. Quite powefull program. It createc really qualitative videos without any sound or picture quality losses! Moreover it can add your logo to the final video to authorise it and save your rights...
