    can anyone help me with some ways of blending images to get the effect like the images in the cd cover artwork below..thanks OH if there's any tutorials anyone knows about let me know ...

    Here, try this Swizz...

    Open 2 photos, then put them both into one document. Close the one you don't need anymore.

    Click on the topmost photo layer and add a Layer Mask to it. Just click the Layer Mask icon bottom of the layers palette.

    Fill the layer mask with black.
    Then, use the Airbrush with white and paint on the Layer Mask (click on the layer mask first to make sure it's active), over top of the area of the photo you want to see. If you use a hard brush, just Gaussian Blur the layer mask to create a soft/smooth fade into the surrounding background photo.
    You could also just paint with a soft brush to start with, or, use the Blur Tool to manually blur specific areas more or less.

    Look at my example image to get a clear idea of what i'm describing.
