    Default Color Line Difference

When I open a standard drawing template, the Color Line at the bottom is different from the Color Line when I open a A4 or US Letter template. I'm using Xtreme Pro 3.2. Is there a way to customize the Color Line in a way so that I can change it myself?

All templetes load with the 'new' Color Line but for drawings, black, grayscales and white squares don't appear. They are only there for A4 and US Letter Templates.

    Wesley,
The way that I have done this with XP3.2 is to open a page of my preferred size (800x600 Drawing) then open the "colour gallery"
Scroll down to "Standard Colours" right click on one of these little coloured squares and you will see "Show in color line". Click on that will turn off/on the colours at page bottom.
I have then used my own named colours and made a selection of my own.
You will need to save this page as a custom template and tick "default"

Someone else may be able to tell you an easier way later but this works for me

I am so used to the original color bar - chartreuse etc that I made this template
which may be of use to some one else.

Customize to your hearts content. If I like someone elses ideas for a pallet, I just DL the pallet, open it and move the colors from their pallet to my default pallet... Then I have the best of both worlds without having toreinvent the wheel...

This is discussed in Workbook 60

There is a palette of more colors you can download from the review and use as a template to increase the spartan number of colors in the current palette.

    Thanks for that as ever.

I also know those old pre-named colors like the back of my hand and first thing I did was get them back.

Gary, thanks for the XAR file with your color palette. Do you have a PAL file that you can share so that I can put it in my Palette subdirectory? Thanks!

No, I don't have a palette file but you are welcome to create one (and share it with the rest of us )

Funny you should ask! I was painstakingly putting one together using XPal. Hope it's right. Of course, it doesn't keep the names but, you can't have everything.
