Hi gang,
Still working my way towards the present day on my journey through the past at the Xara Gallery.
I've stopped off at November 2005 and the Decorative Ornaments Challenge from the 23rd of the month.
I've picked the hottest day of the year so far for this, it's 28ºC/82ºF at the moment, and it will get hotter later today.
Mostly done in Xara except for importing the original circle into PSP X
to use the Effects/Geometric Effects/Spherize tool to alter the stars.
Anyone know of a way of doing this part in Xara X Pro?

Nice image Bob,
I like how the red and the green merge at the edges, like the the effect of light behind it.
Was that a conscious effect or is that just a jpeg phenomenon?

Thanks for your comments, the apparent glow is just a circular fill on the background.
