Tell the truth now Ron, this is from the owner's manual in your car!
Joking aside, excellent rendering...would make an interesting calendar with a series of those old car advertisements like that.
Love the design, well done! Love the slightly bleached out colors and look as well. Great job!
Great looking work Ron. Love the old car adds. I shouldn't admit to it but I remember when that car was new. My father bought a new Buick Roadmaster in 53.
Really really nice advertisment. Well done.
I was taken in, absolutely characteristic of the time.

Ron,
Very neat. You should visit some custom car shows and pass out your business card. Car collectors are very pround of their cars and I'm sure they would be willing to pay for something like this. You could also give them a copy of the image which they could put on their desktop. I'm guessing there are lots of custom car shows in car-crazy California.
Perfect but there is something niggling me about the main text. It looks out of place some how?
Great Work Ron. I really like this one. I think it´s one of your best works.
The car rendering itself is amazing. Love the pastel color pallete you´ve chosen. It´s a pitty you´ve posted the image so small... It really deserves some close ups
Now if you can tweak the text a little... There´s two white spaces in the main body text that beaks the flow a little and i´m unsure about the font chosen.
But regarding the font i would have to research a little too.
Overall it´s very convincing.
Have i already told you i love the car rendering ???
The website's picture is very small, but if you look close enough you can see the basic font used in this original ad placed in 1954. Beacause of the size of the picture I couldn't definitely identify the actual font, but I think the one I chose is pretty close.

If you go to this website you'll see quite a wide range of fonts used back in the day: http://www.adclassix.com/caradsindex.htm
I didn't want to copy any single ad, so I did make it my own.
Thank you all for the observations and critiques.
