tiff problems

hi ive just finished off my picture in xara xtreme pro & my tiffs have to much magenta in them. i opened this up with the windows pic previewer and it looks normal(not so much magenta :P) wtf is going on?

also when i goto print in xara it comes out with to much magenta.

Hello Terry and welcome to the Xtreme Conference.

It's hard to tell wtf is happening. But it sounds possible like a screen display problem. Have you printed out the TIFF? And did you export the TIFF as CMYK or RGB? Xtreme Pro's CMYK TIFF export has been problematical recently.

yeh i exported it as cmyk. i don't think my monitor has a problem. i opened the same file up in paintshop pro 7 and the magenta was gone. im just wondering why this problem occurs in xara. something to do with the rendering engine ?
