This morning I received the latest copy of Digital Arts (Digit). Toward the back I saw a Xara advert announcing "New PRO version -- coming soon" Thats it! Anyone know any more??

Hi Ted,
Nothing more than what you read. Coming soon is about all we have heard.

Bill is no longer with us. He died on 10 Dec 2012. We remember him always.

Last XaReg update
Version 3.2 should be just around the corner.
Hopefully it will have enough new 'pro required - whizzbangs' to lay to rest the expressed fear of a dumbed down Magix version.

Hmm lets see, I get a refund of 20 dollar for ordering early.(in december, I believe)
And now I have to pay 40 dollar (atleast) because I ordered early.
Now how do you think that I feel about ordering early.
(and 39 dollar is ussually the price range magix sells their
software,.... about)
So ordering late would have saved me, 20 dollar.
Hmm I guess I will be ordering late next time.
(Okay, I would have missed out on some new features for
some time, that is true too)

be aware, not to become a ware.
Bear in mind that it's version 3.2, whereas the current Xara version is version 3. So there isn't likely going to be anything spectacularly new feature wise I wouldn't have thought.
Did you all see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5OVHIG_Nnc? It's a great video.
In my experience in the software world, going from 3.02 to 3.20 is actually a pretty significant deal-- not a full version update, but containing a fair amount of meaningful additions and corrections.
If this is not what Xara means, they should call it 3.05.
But of course we digress... Still, it's fun. The summer of fun with 3.2.
These "point" numbers mean nothing other than to make you believe you're getting something worth the price of the upgrade? (bug fixes?)
There are still many bugs outstanding from when I purchase Pro (just read this forum) and now I see I have to pay for these bug fixes which should have been free to meet their commitment of the original Pro version specifications.
I have a very bad feeling about this MAGIX merger/takeover.
The BEST is good enough!
