SpaceBar in font Map

Does anyone have experience in font editing?

I'm currently using TypeTool (from FontLab), I'm having an issue with some fonts that I have have edited and they worked great for many years, but recently the spaces have dissappeared. How can I check the space character and make sure that it's in the right position?

Dave the space character is decimal value 32 or hex value 20 in an ASCII table.

I haven't used TypeTool so I'm not sure if it displays the decimal and/or hex value for the characters the same way as FontLab's other products.

Thanks, that would certainly help a lot. So I guess that square needs a blank white, right?

Yes, blank white for the space.

Thanks for your help, for some reason I had to copy THAT empty space square from another working font, and NOW it works!
