A couple of bull-nosed Morris cars circa 1931
good work.
these, while lacking the photo realism of many of the cars posted here, have an appealing, era specific, commercial graphic illustration feeling about them that I like a lot.
all you need is context.

Can't I say I have heard of the Morris. But I do like the style and the rendering of it. Great job Norman!
my grandfather had something similar long before I arrived when he'd graduated [?] to Oxford's - lovely engines
well done - bit like the pictures on model boxes?

Well done Norman.
I don't recall seeing one before, but I have read novels from that time frame that mentioned them.

Norman,
Excellent drawings. I'll take the blue one for myself.

Morris did what Henry Ford did in the state's at the same time in Britain. He brought the same affordable cars to the UK in the same way but not all in black but at a slightly higher price therefore excluding the working class of the chance to buy the cars. The construction techniques were similar but without the use of the pallet boards that the parts came in being reused as the floor boards of the car as Morris used pitch pine.
Design is thinking made visual.
Thanks to all of you that wrote in . One day I hope to be as good as Ron and his cars, I should live that long. Now off to bed and try and dream up a new project.
Norman,
You may think you have areas to improve on, but we all do. I really appreciate your illustrations just the way they are. They remind of drawings in a book of illustrations for cars I saw once.
