Gary - Either it means "Roman" or our friend Roman 'Dmagician' Chlebec knows what it means .
Bert - I really like the lettering effect you present but I'm not convinced by the white grid overlay. It seems to fight the three-dimensionality of the lettering. If you wanted to play with it some more you could eliminate that grid and in it's place weave the nice blue cord in and out of the letters. I think that could look really cool. (If you need suggestions on how to do that: Just ask ).

Well, now we know PUMAH. How about the meaning of "Stan". Since the war the DOM and I have just realized how many "...stans" there are. As in Afganistan, Tagikistan, Pakistan. Anyway, with as much reteoric as the news puts out, nobody has give us an explanation of the suffix "..stan".
can you help us out here BERT, since you live in a "...stan's"
The banner? Oh I just LOVE the effect on the letters.
If I am not mistaken It should be pronounced *sthan* which means place.
