As an abstracted sky I like it. I find that the fractal cloud fills are too hard edged to look very realistic though. The clouds in your text look so much more realistic because they are much softer edged. As an experiment you could make a bitmap copy of your sky and then process that bitmap with xara's blur effect. That should soften everything and might enhance the realism.

I really like the beveled text. Is it a font or did you draw the letters? (If it is a font - which one?). I particularly like how the "K" looks like it is made from two parts.

    Hello Ross!

I actually used the technique you suggest on the letters.

quote:
I really like the beveled text. Is it a font or did you draw the letters? (If it is a font - which one?). I particularly like how the "K" looks like it is made from two parts.

It is a font and it's called "Rockwell Extra Bold"

    Hello Thomas

The clouds need to be a bit softer. If you right click on the fractal fill with the Fill Tool icon, a Fractal Resolution text entry box will appear on the Infobar. You can make the resolution less 2-3 to soften the clouds.

Also try making the height of the fill less tall.
