Here is my attempt at recreating a pitcher that I have on my kitchen table filled with flowers. I'm not sure if I got the lighting right, but I think I did a pretty good job. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Great flowers - one teensy weensy crit: what is stopping the pitcher from rolling over?
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.
Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.
the pitcher lacks a bit of perspective does it not - looks like it got squashed?
and because the flowers are so good that makes it even more noticeable

Lovely pic. It would make a perfect wall mount for the kitchen.
Those flower are very realistic, very, very nice .Lke the rest the vase could do with a flatter base but still great stuff. We will probably get a spate of flower pictures now.
Its apears like it floting in the air dosent it?
I like the glazed effect on the vase. How did you do that?
Anas
you have a natural eye for folk art.
yes, there is an 'unrealistic' quality to it, but I think that only makes the image more appealing.
simply put, excellent.

Good morning! You guys are right, the bottom of the vase should be flatter. I realized that after I got it all done, and by then, I had so many layers of transparencies and such, that I was afraid I'd mess it up. But I am going to go back and fix that. I think my yellow flowers came out pretty good, but I'm still not happy with the white ones. Something is missing. As far as how I did the glazing effect... just added some highlights and shadows...I just kept redoing it until it looked right.
Thanks guys for your input. It really helps to see your work through someone else's eye.

Sandra, this is really quite good. I agree that the base should be flattened to make the image look stable, but I also think the reflection doesn't quite match the pitcher. Shadows typically point in the direction away from the light source, but reflections are pretty much in line between the object and the viewer.
And Anas is right...the glazed look you have achieved is really good! It truly does look like highly glazed ceramic.
And the flowers are perfect. I can be a picky Virgo, but I see not even the tiniest thing to criticise. Every petal is just right, the shading, shadow placement, everything. Congratulatlions.
