I have been able to resolve all Gary's stereograms by looking at them from a distance of 18 inches and slightly squinting. my eyes. or try that daydreaming look that one used to adopt when being bored with ones teacher.

I can never see those things, but I have a lazy eye, and I have
deminished color recognition(3 % of the world population has that , and another 3 % for the other color region) , so that might be the reason
why I never see those things and it really bothers me, I still believe
that people are pulling my leg.

Yes, Parahandy, that's what I'm eluding to with my diagram. Staring or daydreaming as you refer to it is actually just relaxing the eyes and they naturally turn outward and parallax a point further away. Bingo, you can see the image.
And Ankhor, I suspect the lazy eye could sacrifice the ability to view these just because it is so related to parallax, but my guess (and it is a guess) is that the color recognition probably doesn't hurt at all.

Very boring stuff at present. I have numerous picture frames to use on a site. Unfortunately some have been cut very roughly and I'm having to use Xtreme to smooth down the chewed up edges.

This work that I just started was inspired by Raymonds Hand.xar posted in the Starburst Effects thread. I already had the cue ball from another project and made a psuedo Simonis table top to draw on. The faded hand at the top is one of several shadow transparencies to be added once I get all the wrinkles (I mean character) in the hand. The round thing top right will be my watch. Digital master bitmap is below.

I feel very proud of myself! For the first time in my life, I am now able to see the stereograms!
And it is all thanks to Gary Priester.
His Guide to Stereograms was so clear and easy to follow, that I finally managed to see them. I finally know what I was missing.

Thanks, Gary (by the way, thanks for the tutorials, too...)

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.
Great start, you have caught something there even though incomplete. Anxious to see more.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.
