If, by trace, yu mean bitmap tracer I'd say no.

'Tis a simple image - redrawing is the better and more accurate way to go.

Only take you five minutes or so ...

"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Raymond, it took me about 10 minutes, but I have a bad tendency to put in two or three times as many nodes as I need

I did say five minutes or so >grin<

Mind you, I'm no judge of time ... I often stop after thirty minutes to find I've been at it for a couple of hours.

So it may have taken me fifteen minutes - it felt like five minutes ...

    ... or so.

Doing it by hand (vector) is always (in my opinion) the best way. It is cleaner, and more accurate.

Illustrator's rather excellent line tracing capabilities made a perfect trace immediately. I'd love to see Xara's tracer increased in capabilities; it's been great for the last 10 years, but it could probably do with a revamp now.
