Is there any way to export the finished bitmap file at a higher dpi than 96? Or, perhaps, a good way to change it in Corel Draw 7?

When you export your image, either export as a True Color PNG or Windows BMP, not GIF or JPEG.

Determine how large you want the image to be. By image exports at 96dpi, Windows screen resolution. If you need the image to be 300dpi, (150 lines per inch printed) the multiply your height and width by 3.

    This should do the trick.

If the image needs to be CMYK, you will need to convert the image in another application, such as Corel 7.

    Gary:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Looks like it's gonna work! I had almost given up on using this wonderful 3D program for anything printed.

By the way...I didn't quite understand:
"By image exports at 96dpi, Windows screen resolution." Does X3D only export at 96 dpi?

    Thanks again,
    Cedar

Further to Gary's reply above, see this thread CLICK HERE

This allows you a maximum of 2000 pixel export image, which you can resample within another prog.

This would also suggest an import restriction of 2000 pix x 2000 pix you mention in your other post.
