    Default Text Formatting Question

Can somebody please explain to me how to set up a line like this? It will be like a menu layout where all the lines have to be flush left and right, I have never been able to figure this out.

Use paragraph text (draw a rectangle with the text tool). And when you get to the end of where you need your elipsis (the "...") then hit Tab. Under the Text menu you can find Tabs. It is only active if you are in Paragraph text. You can easily set the tabs you want or those you want to remove here. You can specify what kind of tab: left, center, right or decimal here and what sort of fill character you need. You can also drag tabs off of the paragraph tab and indent bar that displays on your ruler automatically when in paragraph text mode. You can double click and add a tab too and right click to set it from left, right, etc. This feature on the ruler only appears when rulers on set to "on". You have to turn the "..." on as described above.

See attached file (CDR v9). Maybe it'd be helpful for You.
Remember to turn on Rulers, then You can see the right tab position.
Unfortunatelly, You must control the number of dots between the both sides.

The way to get at tabs dialogue in CorelDRAW 9 is to go to the Text menu, to Paragraph, then click on the Tabs tab. The rest is self-explanatory. You could also find out the following in the help menu when looking up tabs.

You can add trailing leader tabs to Paragraph text. You can also change the character used and adjust the space between characters.

To add tabs with a trailing leader character

    1. Select the Paragraph text frame or paragraph with the Text tool.
    2. Click Text, Format Text.
    3. Click the Tabs tab.
    4. Click the cell in the Leadered column to enable the check box.

To change the trailing leader character

    1. Follow steps 1 to 3 from the previous procedure.
    2. Type a character in the first Character box.

To decrease or increase space between trailing leader characters

    1. Follow steps 1 to 3 from the "To add tabs with a trailing leader character" procedure.
    2. Type a value from 0 to 10 in the Spacing box.

Lower values decrease and higher values increase the spacing between leader characters.

9 is a nice version but not many people still are using it.
You do not have to type your leaders, you just have to turn them on.

Again, it is easier and gets you back to work quicker looking this stuff up. You have information right there at your fingertips. That way you don't have a lot of work to go back and edit later.
