    Default outline question??

Why is x3 cutting off the tips of my outlines or outside contours??? It didn't do it in 12....I have selected every feature in the outline tool box (the rounded, the straight, and the cutt off) it still cuts of my outline tips...I selected the rounded one and it rounds them, but i would rather have the sharp points....Any help Sally!! Thanks

I don't know as it didn't do it for me, but that doesn't mean it didn't do it for you. Have you tried changing fonts? If you could zip your file and post it I could take a look and see if I can figure it out for you.

Then I suggest, convert the lines to shapes and try it again. That works for me.

If you go to the Arrange Menu, you can convert outlines to shapes. Then you can apply the contour tool. It is seeing the endpoint of the line. Once it sees a shape you will be okay. Here you will also find to convert perfect shapes to editable shapes too.

You can also find out questions such as this by using "help" in DRAW and looking at the name of what you want to convert, or look up convert. Easy to get information that way.
