    Default Hi

    Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to say Hello, but I just joined. I use PSX and want to learn more about it, I am pretty good with it, but I know there is a load still to learn, so I thought this was the best way,, to get stuck in and chat to people who know!

I have my own website and I design digital scrap kits, as well as majke a variety of hand crafts.

One thing I am stuck with at the minute,, is how to make an emenet which is a straight line, into a garland shape. I know it can be done, but hours of fruitless playing is driving me nuts,, so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

I'm not familiar with the term "emenet". If you want to make a simple line into a garland, it might be easiest to use a brush effect, or one of the many available tube tools.

Sorry, my spelling was atrocious,, should have been element,, which is basically a piece of the scrapkit,, I have created a piece of tinsel,, in a straight line,, and I want to make it into a garland shape.

    LOL...

I must be slow. I honestly did not even guess at the word "element."

There could be a way to take your tinsel and make a picture tube from it, then use it to make a garland.

As much as I like PSP, I have to admit that if I were doing something like that I would be working in vector graphics with Xara Xtreme Pro.

Well I managed to do it, I got a photo of a piece of garland and then layered my tinsel on to it, and cut it out again. Maybe not the best way but I think it looks pretty good,, what do you think?

    These are beautiful!

I did an animated Xmas tree in Xara Xtreme Pro's Flash abilities, and would have loved a tinsel garland like yours to decorate it!
