if the scenario is that you create a sprite in swishmax and then use LoadMovie (in this case to loadthe swf exported from xara) into the sprite then although you can play around with the sprite you can't do anything with the loaded movie itself. ... err, I think

I use the Import Content command to load swfs in SWiSHmax.
