Default a challenge ~ CCA OCCASIONAL

first, a little history. My daughter attends a small Christian school and every quarter they put out a "newspaper". It is just 8 1/2 x 11 paper run off a copier. Anyway, my daughter comes up with an idea for the cover and I make it for her in, what else, XARA. We go through the creative process and she usually ends up with what she was thinking of. She has asked me if I could ask my friends in talkgraphics to come up with some ideas for the Christmas issue.

    Requirements:
    MUST SAY CCA OCCASIONAL
    NO color
    NO blends
    NO Santa's, elves, raindeer etc.
the copy machine is on it's last leg so no light lines or images, they just don't come out. To make it worse, they copy the cover in colored paper so they really loose a lot of detail. I usually just use BLACK AND ONLY BLACK. I have put a sample of the last quarter here. Sorry, I don't keep them once they are used so I don't have any of the other covers.
It can be Christian in nature or a winter image.
Please post as a .gif or .jpeg etc so everyone can see what is being done, but also include the .xar file.
    PLEASE INCLUDE WHERE YOU LIVE.
I think one idea she has is to put all of them on one sheet for the cover and would like to show her teacher that they are from around the world and United States.
Last word from my Daughter....."keep it simple" and thank you, Erin.

    Here you go Erin,

This is probably to stark, but I like the way CCA is part of oCCAsional.

Perhaps others can pick up this link and run with it.

"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

If someone sees a better way to use this text or a spinoff, please be my guest. Drawing is not yet in my strengths.

If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.

    something christian, no winter scenes.

(hmm I don`t know spanish, and "o si nal" could mean something in spanish or portugese
(or even italian) I hope it isn`t rude or anything?)

Well, if you look at the "location" in the posts it mostly says who is from where.
But, I am from the Netherlands.
