But at the end of the day it doesn't add to my work by telling me I should have tried it another way ... it's just your opinion or tastes ... it might have made it more like your vision of my work .. but at the end of the day, my work is my vision

yeah but there's a difference between comment and interference ... wouldn't you say?
I guess it's all a matter of interpretation. People don't see our works as we do. Sometimes a genuine, harmless comment annoys me because I feel the poster has totally lost the point of the work, but if he hasn't seen what I intended is it he who has failed or is it me? Is there even any failure at all? I never post unfinished, incomplete or abandonned works for that very reason. I don't want people commenting on them - they don't reflect what I want to achieve. But that's not to say I hit the right spot with finished works. It's all a matter of subjective interpretation. It's easy to get touchy. I'm walking poof of that.
