Ok Bruce, I feel better now that I know I'm not the only one

Personaly I prefer tropical weather. I was in Munich, Germany. Loved it there!

Yes it is, I know that because I was born in Den Haag (The Hague) and Scheveningen is now a part of that city. (Ankhor, excuse me to answer for you)

Bruce, I live in the desert too, the Mojave desert, in California. Lot's of Joshua Trees, Teddy Bear Cactus, Cholla, some Beaver Tail Cactus, lots of tumbleweeds. And then there's me.

I built the treehouse for Mook and Kai for their birthday about 8 years ago. This is in a group of redwood trees. The largest is about 8 feet in diameter. Mook and Kai like to look over the garden, and I built several viewing areas.

Ross, you're getting warmer! Gannat is about 40 km south from us. Look in the direction of Moulins

All this deserts are very beautiful indeed, but isn't it also blody hot? I don't like that at all! Here in the middle of France it's green, we have just enough rain. Hot summers too, but in winter it's snowing

The landscape isn't that spectacular though, but very comfy to live in... I'll send a pic of it later.

I live in Tacoma, a smallish town in the American state of Washington in the Northeast corner of the USA (not Washington DC, the capital). I am about 35 miles (56 km) from Seattle. My house was built in 1904.
