Brin, can you provide a little more information?
Who owns the copyright to the original file?
Have you contacted them for permission to have the file edited?

It would be useful to be able to view the gif to which you refer.
Some are easier to edit than others.
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.
Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.
That's right, Brin, Raymond can fix about anything with .gifs and animation. But there are programs also that make doing it yourself a little eaiser. For example, Gif Animator, a Ulead product which ships with PhotoImpact opens .gif files as a series of stills, so you can edit each frame and easily selecte those frames you need to alter/delete. Then you can re-export in .gif or .exe or as flash.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Older versions of Paint Shop Pro came bundled with Animation Shop, which was really easy to use, either for editing or creating animated gifs. If you upload the gif you want modified, together with info on what you want it to be like, people would have a better idea of what it might take to get your results.
