    simsmj: My sincere apologies if I inferred that your tutorial did not work. Your tutorial is EXCELLENT! The problem was ME! I went back and did every single step extremely carefully. You explained the procedure very precisely and accurately. The first time I just tried to rush through it and in the end failed.
    I have learned a lot from you. Thank you.
    This is just my first result - no textures added.
    I am really curious HOW in the world you figured out how to do all of this!!!!!

    Drifter, I am delighted you made it work, and I took no offense in the least, so worry not!

    How did I work it all out? Combination of visualisation, calculation and experimentation, resulting in generation of fascination with 3D rotation, plus creation of notation, and animation sensation.

    It's a revelation!

    I think I'll have to upgrade to the latest X3D, I'm still using X3D4. You already do so much more with the later version.
    If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
    They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:
    Avoiding Manual Labour.
