I need Carrara 5 help!!!

Hi. I am having trouble locating the Edge tools in the Vertex modeler on Carrara 5, especially the Extract Around Edge tool. If I could get some help on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, Mr.Gray827 and welcome to TalkGraphics.

Unfortunately, all these functions are only in the Professional version of Carrara 5 available.

Geez, I seem to recall suggesting something somewhere regarding the edge tools, and how Eovia needed to include em into the reg package...

I mean what was the deal with that eh? Oh well... marketing eh, what can ya do?

You know, there's always the little, free, and very powerful modeling app called Wings3d

and or... for money spent, another mighty modeling app is Silo


I find Carrara very nice for rendering and such
