Default How to make a 'leaf' edge?

Hi all, I'm really new to paintshop pro and I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me. I searched the help files in the software but didn't find an answer.

I want to create an edge on an image that mimic the look of the edge of a leaf or feather. How can I do this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe draw a selection. Not a program I use, but here is a leaf image from a drawing I did. You could make a selection from this image. Rich

Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly. I don't want the edge to look like an actual leaf, I just want them to have the same jagged edge that a leaf or feather does.

This is for a tropical themed website and these jaged edges are supposed to go along the side of the nav menu.

    Thanks!

The bamboo image is perfect! How did you do that?

I was just looking for the effect, and did this in Expression. I very seldom use PSP, and will have to see how to do this there.

I made a few drawings of bamboo leaves for use in Expression as image strokes. These were vector drawings I saved to grayscale. As a grayscale stroke, the white goes transparent. Easy enough to make these transparent.
I did an Effect Line function to create an array. Just a few adjustmets to vary the size and position. I think in PSP it would be more of a manual method.

A view of the leaf drawing with colored leaves.

The grayscale leaves can be recolored, but the opacity depends on the grayscale value.

Made in PSP with multiple layers. I wanted to keep each leaf adjustable.
