    Sorry kiwa, it doesn't work here. Helmets are obligitory in this country. Can't talk more, too busy pushing my new button trying to get rich....only getting bored so far, bummer........frank

    Ahh, nothing beats a bike and an open road, with the feel of the wind and the sun in your face. OK, not just the wind and the sun, ....
    A full helmet is a good idea, really...

    Well, if you have a mighty beard, I suppose it acts as a bug-deflector.

    Um ... a beard acts more of a bug catcher.
    Amazing what I find nestling there after a day's ride.
    Flies, wasps, mosquitoes, the odd cigarette butt (mostly mine) ... half-eaten sandwiches ...

    No beards for me, then.
    Since the topic is wandering off to insects and beards, I am reminded of a famous bearded icon. Not so sure about copyright problems with this one, but perhaps it could be taken as free publicity . Some quick freehand vectoring with reference from a magazine ad and a bit of freewheeling imagination.
