Question drawing a fixed-space item (ruler)

I would like to make a rule for use on an archery sight and so the spacing needs to be fixed.

I would like to have an overal length of 144mm by 8mm wide with 10 divisions, each having 10 sub divisions, all divisions equally spaced.

Any suggestions as to how best to acheive this?

    BTW: CorelDRAW 12

Begin with a rectangle 544.3 px by 30.2 px.
    That's your starter ... I don't use Corel Draw so that's as far as I go ...

    To Cimbian,

You should use the blend tool. Make guidelines your height and width, create your division lines at the beginning and end, and then blend between the lines, 100 steps. Break your blend apart. Selecting only every tenth line, pull the lines out a little farther, perhaps color them or make them a larger point size.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Dat's exactly what I did in Xara ... too easy, ennit?
I wasted time setting up the initial two lines the correct distance apart and the correct height - but it doesn't matter, does it?
Any ol' one-hundred and one line blend will do - just group and set the parameters for the total group size when done.

Edited to add: in the blend you need to set a value of ninety nine, not 100.
