I don't know, my parents did it opposite, my mom died first, she got worn out taking care of my dad, he had Alzheimer's disease.
I know, took care of him too until I was unable as he hurt my back. He was happy in the nursing home. He lasted five years after her passing. He never knew she died.
Enough on that subject, it is too sad.
But you do great animation, Intbel. I am having an identity crisis, everyone changing Avatars now. Maybe I should show my true identity, a green martian.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Some things are inevitable Sally.
I also became an orphan last year.
Animation - I bought Xara Webster ages ago purely for animation.
Didn't use it much for drawing, not terribly good at drawing.
However, in the process of animating stuff it is necessary to draw and replace bits cut from original artwork. In doing this I began to absorb some understanding of drawing techniques and progressed from there.
Mostly folks don't mind too much if I play with their stuff.
Generally, though, 'tis the quality artwork which catches my eye and sayd "Animate me!" LOL! And generally, it is, I find, the more accomplished illustrators who don't mind so much. I guess if I animate someone's work I am paying 'em a compliment for if the work was rubbish I'd not bother. There are exceptions though not many.
What I want to know is - if what I do is so good how come no-one is prepare to pay me to do it? I used to have loadsa work until I decided enough is enough and and refused to work for free. Then suddenly requests stopped.
Bleh.
You haven't changed much apart from hair and glasses. "You musta bin a beautiful baby." Well done.Originally Posted by Intbel
