    Hi Tony,

I'm not sure, but I believe there were some improvements in the import filters from version 5 and version 6.

The message about not containing outlines happens if the .wmf/.emf files contain bitmap data and no vectors. If the files contain both vector and bitmap data it will import but will only look like a large rectangle.

    Hi Bill
Many thanks... have now purchased version 6.
    Just a few questions.
I am taking up working with Bryce again trying to remember what I forgot!!
Is there any way of importing objects from Bryce into Xara, or indeed from Maya?
Also am I correct in assuming that Xara only works on a PC platform and there is no version available for the MAC?
    Regards
    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Xara3D can only import vector file formats like .xar, .web. .wmf, and .emf.

I don't recall if Bryce or Maya can export .wmf or .emf files.
