Install / Unlock Problems, Assistance Please!

Hello everyone, new here. I had to re-format my computer, and re-install version 1.0 of menu maker from a downloaded registered copy. AFter install I hit generate a new unlock code and 4 times I was sent to the purchase page, instead of being generated a new unlock code. I re-installed this version before, never had any problems with new unlock code generations? I think its unfair to be forced to upgrade? its not the cost, its the point of the matter.

Any suggestions here is appreciated! no matter where I went throughout the site, this question still directed me back to the steps I did, and it didn't work, but continue to direct me back to re-purchase page.

It seems, there is a solution in Xara's Knowledge Base:

• Go to the Xara Menu Maker Support page.
• There is a frame called "Search Knowledge Base" on the left site.
• Choose your version.
• Choose the topic "Downloading and Unlocking".
• Type in the keyword "unlock".
• There are some tips in the Knowledge Base article "I am unable to unlock Menu Maker 1.1 by entering my email address and password". (It seems, this article belongs to Menu Maker 1.1, not Menu Maker 1.0, so choose "Menu Maker 1.1" as version, to find this article.)
