I agree with what your saying Albacore but such remarks could discourage beginners from posting their work for fear of ridicule. I have found nothing but help and encouragement on the forum, which is fantastic for newbies to graphics like myself and long may it continue to be so. We are not all born graphic masters and have to start somewhere, dross or no dross!

Wow, nice to see how simple shapes can make a most effective effect.
I have to cheat with plug ins, which makes it all easy, but this
    really was excellent, nice work.

Nice Cube - it's sorta got the atmosphere of Cube 2: Hypercube - has anyone seen that film? What a superb trilogy of films, I love 'em

Only just found his thread - that cube is first class, isn't it?
Not sure exactly where the appeal lies - after all, it's just a cube with letters ennit?

Yeah, right ... I need to study more ... and a similar image will be my next project.

Thanks for the source file ... 'tis what we ignoramusses want if we are to go forward more efficiently ...

What I gained from this exercise was a deepeer insight into the vaguaries of light and shade.

Cubism is old hat - triangularism(?) is the way to go ... anyway, I'm lazy and a pyramid only needs two shapes >grin<

Ha, Ha, Intbel, always a kidder.

Dmitry has taken the straw the king gave the peasant girl and has spun the dross (the part of the wheat that is discarded) into GOLD, and I don't think he once say "Rumplestilsken"!

That is a hard one to spell.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.
