    Default Love Postcard

I have been using Xara for many years (Thanks Gary for showing it to me back in '97). I have been using it lately, for personal video - home movies. Not your run-of-the-mill 1-hour of a sleeping baby mind you. I do montages, photo and video shows (they have not all been good but I they have evolved). Anyway, I tend to find new ways to challenge myself and video, more specifically, motion graphics, has become my "thing" of interest. I have primarily used Xara, all versions from Corel Xara in 1999 to Xtreme 2.0 today.

I have included a pseudo step-by-step of how I used XaraX1 and Xtreme to create a section of my last video. I have attached a ZIP file with a quicktime of the video itself. I am going to post other samples of my work to showcase how Xara can be used for jobs typcially reserved to Illustrator and Photoshop.

Very creative use of programs, Milt. Everything came together very well, for a nice animation.

Ah, Milt. A very old post of your's surfaced recently and I thought maybe you were back with us. But the post was from 2000.

    But now here you are.

Hope all is well with you, Tori and the kids.

That message you saw was in fact from a few days ago re: iStockphoto. The 2000 data was my "sign up date". Everyone is good...keeping me busy.
