Default CS2 - Where's my favorite function gone?

    Where's my function gone?????

Last version of photoshop I was using had a neat function whereby if I double clicked a layer in the Layer window the graphic area in my working document was selected with a marquee/moving dotted line.

My version of CS2 doesn't behave like this which is a bummer as this shortcut was perfect as part of my workflow - how do I get it back?

Any advice warmly recieved. Many thanks in advance!!!

    Hi.

I'm not using CS2, but in PS7 it's a Ctrl click to select a layer, not Double click. Wouldn't have thought they would have changed this.

Ctrl + click on the thumbnail of the layer in the layers palette.

I had the same prob... until I mucked about a bit and found it. Ctrl clicks are commonly used in some apps, so always try if you cant find something.
