Wallpaper - On The Eve Of Destruction

Looking for constructive criticism on my new wallpaper.
I was listening to 'On the eve of destruction' on the radio, thought of ground zero, and decided to make a wallpaper about it. the areas that are heavily darkened are for my icons.

Liking this! I think the image used is quite poignant... I have to say that in places it is too bright, IMO.
