Does anyone else have problems with this program freezing up when you try to use a text or image effect? I love the program for it's ease of use, but that is a MAJOR problem.

The effects can be very slow sometimes because it will add multiple frames to make the effect. If you make it longer in time for example it will add "x" amount of frames to your animation.

On longer GIF animations where I wanted to have several effects, I split the GIF images up into several files. Once in the smaller files, I applied the effects.

Then I could use the separate little GIF animations and combine them into a bigger GIF, thus saving processor overload.

I guess I'm used to hanging time in software as I use 3D modeling software and sometimes it takes overnight to render out a single piece of work.
