the "Last Man Standing" section is a bit difficult to read. Can you clarify this section more?.....it's noisy--2-3 colors used on thin font with the letters surrounded by a 'steam' effect. Needs more simplicity/clarity.

What is America's Army--is that the game name?

as you know...be back later (weeks rather than days)

Yes messy it is. It's a representation of layered street art. ie spraypainted walls that have been retouched.

The whole image looks better bigger, especially the text.
BTW Last Man Standing is a clan and Red is my tag. The game is Americas Army and is morelike a simulator than a game. It's also free to play and download from www.americasarmy.com

I have begun to learn the layering and how to cut, join, reshape and mould. I have the same frame without eye candy and I have to say I think both look cool. One handy thing about xara is I have saved 5 files of progressive work involving the frame shapes and the end products. All handy to re-do the whole thing, share it and reshape it. like this

The time to do the first initial frame is around 4 hours, after that and a working basis I re-shaped and applied the image and background to the second in only 3 minutes.

    And this took 10

Er... did you know you can create rectangles with (adjustable) rounded corners in one step? Use a wide line and no fill if you want to make a frame. Then just convert lines to shapes and you can do whatever you like. That should save you some time!
