However, if you do need to export from CorelDraw.

Change your drawing units to pixels, then select all your vector objects and SCALE them proportionately using the corner selecting handles or the property bar until the extents of the selection matches the size of the image (in pixels) that is required for the web page.

THEN export to GIF (which is resolution independent) or PNG if you need a transparent background or to JPG. You may need to turn on or off "Apply ICC Profile" seen in the export dialog box ... experiment a bit.

At any rate, SCALE FIRST then export as this may help remove unnecessary "fuzzies" due the antialiasing routines. Also, for optimal file size I generally use an export resolution of 96dpi.

Draw12 has some presets built into it that work pretty well, but I believe what it is doing is what I have discribed above.
