Default 1st non-tutorial-help effort with Xara

I took a copy of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche logo and played (pwayed, as I've read ) with it to make it stand out a bit more... I now use it as a wallpaper on my computer. (Hope I don't offend too many non-Avs fans by posting, hehehe!) Go Avs!

--- I highly doubt that anyone will be offended... Your logo looks like the real deal to me!

Pierre Lacroix running Forsberg out of town like a beaten down dog however...

Didn't Forsberg leave a spleen in Colorado? Yes, he is out with a grown injury (again), but surely Pierre could have have found some room under the cap if he would have looked a bit harder, no? Surely, he doesn't believe that Svatos or Gingerbread man "Turgeon" will bring the cup back to Denver?

Yes, I'm one of those guys that gave their Nordiques sweaters to charity...

Did I mention that your logo looks like the real deal?

It certainly doesn't hurt to trace over images in Xara... it helps to familiarize one with the curve and line tools. Years ago I used to play around with NHL logos for the heck of it to practice in Xara and so on. Then I'd fiddle around with a theme to gussy them up. All the basic shapes and logo were done in Xara, exported PS and farted around with the KPT filters. I sort of liked how it turned out. This one's about 5 years old now. Not a Hawks fan but...

BTW... Forsberg's doing alright in Philly, isn't he Risto? And without Sakic, the Av's would be toast.

Guess I'll say it,.. GO HABS GO

The Blackhawks sketch is really cool, I like it! And.... well, what can I say about the whole Forsberg thingy, and Foote... well, something had to give somewhere, just too bad it gave there.... I think I might have given them up if Sakic had left as well... geeze! I guess time will tell, maybe the Avs will begin to play hard and depend more on guts and passion than talent.

Nice Leafs Logos! This is great, let's see some more NHL graphics from hockey fans! I saw a good one, but can't find it to link, but not too long ago someone did a very nice NHL badge with a team logo beside it, my compliments to that job as well.
