If the web still there... go try it... you might like it...
It was dark when I returned, and I couldn't see the web to manual focus. The spider had returned for a meal, and I was able to autofocus on it. Never saw any web, just the spider. Rich
I just discovered this thread today, and it just happens to be one of my favourite photographic subjects. I only really go picture-taking when I'm on vacation. Here are a couple of pictures of spiders in southern California (one of my main vacation destinations).
