    Default Edges

    Hi

I need to create a speciel border on a screem dump to make it look interesting. I want to chop off triangles on the edge of the screem dump and I've tried using the Selection tool, loading the selection to alpha channel and then loading the selection to a new image. But I do not know how to load the screen dump into the selection. Can anybody help? Or is it the wron method

I have a sample image but I do not know how to attach it to this questing.

    Thanks a lot

Lena, the method can depend on the application. What are you using to edit the graphic?

To attach a file, scroll down to assitional options and manage attachments. Hit the browse buttion and you can navagate to your file. Once selected hit the upload button, and then close the window.

    Hi Rich

Thanks for answering me. I use Paint Shop Pro.

I have now attached a sample screen dump.

I don't use PSP and I'll have to look at it more. I premoted a selection to a layer, and that gave me a transparent graphic. I saved it to a PNG with a transparent background. I don't know if this is the correct way, but it worked. Rich

    Hi

Thanks a lot, Rich. Working with your suggestion gave me the soloution. I promoted the selection to a layer and then I deleted the background. Cool:-)
