Talking Using Xara Xtreme import to c4d

Hi, drawing images in Xara Xtreme, add shapes, export to adobe ai,open to c4d,
very neat, never tried it before, works well
on converting 2d objects to a somewhat believable 3d,
then added explosion effects with c4d,
would like to get rid of dull grey background,
    anyone know how
I'm sure it's simple to do.
    thanks
    Jeffery

I like it! It's a very nice justaposition of the natural and the "forced" 3D extrusion!

Here's something I was toying with along similar lines: Poser and Adobe Dimensions. I added the shadows in Xara.

    My Best,

There are alot of ways to put in a background, but i like this one the best because you can let C4D cast shadows and reflections on it.
Just go to http://www.c4dcafe.com/ , you have to become a free member to download the tutorials then on the site go to Downloads :: Texturing & Rendering :: Compositing and download the compositing tutorial.
The video tutorial is 4minutes and is real easy to learn.

Or.... Go to the render settings and choose tiff w/alpha. Then import into Xara. I do this all the time.
