I haven't had a chance to download the latest build... maybe there is a bug in that one with win2000.

Hi,
just wanted to let you all know the the guys at Xara HQ did another great job and fixed my problem (see above).
So now I'm running Xtreme's latest version on my Windows 2000 pc.
Thanks, guys!

here is the fix,
do a search in windows
for gdiplus32.dll
once you find this
make a copy of the file
then paste the file in to the windows
system32 folder, log off, log on then start Xara Xtreme,
all should be fine now.
I had to install xtreme answer ok,
even though it said to cancel
one installed, i uninstalled it,
added the gdiplus32.dll to system 32 folder
then reinstalled,
and everything went to working again.

Hi Jeffery,
thanks for your reply and possible solution. However I'm happy to inform you that Xara had solved my problem last night my letting me install Xtreme's Oct.10-version. I don't know what they've changed, but it works just fine!
Regards, Albert
I just noticed Oct 10 release... but the first download was 21M, the Oct 7th was 28M and now the 10th is 21M again... what was the extra 7M for in the middle and has it been removed for the 10th?
Glenn
Hey Glen,
I think that was movies and no movies for the size difference...
The 'Text attributes not copied fully' bug has not been completely fixed in the 10 oct. release. See attachment.
Not everything is fixed on every release. some are worked, others are but on the back burner, others are not worth the effort...
I do not know how many times I suggested putting in a margarita maker, but I have yet to see it...
Yuk! How about a milk shake maker instead?? I much rather prefer a malted any day!! Easier on the liver too!!
