    Hi HOV

I'm not familiar with A.Premiere but I have Photoshop... and if you do, there's a chance this may work. However, if Adobe Premiere can accept transparent PNGs, you need only export "as such" from X3D. If not, here's a work-around that may or may not help.
Chances are, A.P. can accept transparent TIFFs... and I think it is the transparency you are after (re: text overlays like titles and credits).

Look at the X3D export dialog, you will see an option for transparency. Choose this, then open the graphic in PShop (or A.P.?) and click the channel to load the selection. This will knock-out the background so the "text" will float. Then export (probably as tiff).

A quick note, if you indeed can use PNGs in Adobe Premiere, you can use the drop shadow (in X3D) and experiment with glows etc,.. as PNG's format supports 24 bit (256 levels of) transparency.

I could be wrong about the bitdepth.

    Good Luck... Wayne

(Infopop crashed while attempting to upload this helper graphic, sorry)
