There have been no images since May 12, so I decided to break the silence with a few dandelions against the crescent. A typical scene for the local steppes in the middle of May, as ephemeral as a dandelion.

I love it Nikolai!!! The atmosphere is wonderful---really feels like a lovely evening!!! I like the way you captured the floating quality of the dandelions in the moonlight.
Nice work!!!

This image also reminded me of something else that was magical and very much enjoyed when I lived in Florida (and a couple yrs in N. Carolina, and 4 yrs. in NY)---fireflies!!! Although this pic doesn't contain them, it still brings on the memories of warm summer nights and the flickering of fireflies...something we don't have on the NW coast.

Mike---I just got MojoWorld Generator so am pretty busy learning it, etc. so I haven't been here as much lately... I also want to work with Terragen more and I've got "old fashioned" paintings to do too...not enough time in the days!!! Dear friends, thank you very much for treating the image in such a warm way. Looks like dandelions have a most positive appeal no matter where you reside. This world is small, really. Maya, next time I'll try fireflies. I saw a lot of them when in East Africa, and it was wonderful.
