Make pictures look more vintage?

Hi, I have made some pictures that i would like to make look more vintage. Ex. i would like the picture to look like the print on an old washed out sweater.

Show me an example and I'm pretty sure that I can help you. At the moment I'm just guessing.

Reducing the saturation level and adding some noise will give ya an old washed out look.
