    I got a filter program and when I installed it my original filters for photoshop disappeared. Is there a way to get them back or do I have to uninstall photoshop and reinstall it?

    Try unInstalling those filters you got first. If the native PS ones return, then it's simply a matter that you have too many filters loaded.

    HOWEVER... if you open the Help/About Filters menu you WILL find all the filters installed. They just can't all be fitted into the Filters menu.
